gone back to classics

oh-kay, it's been awhile again, haven't been blogging since i dunno... anywho... am not really good in introductions so, it figures onto how this can relate to the topic above, enough said, while I was really pissing my head off onto the latest animes that I've seen whose killing me for quite sometime now, I decided to buy a time-machine (as if it existed) and went back to the past to watch some "classic" or "old school" animu. I can't help it, am really pissed on anime these days... it's too... 派手、大胆!

...and for that matter, I decided to go back to classics, to... find... uhhh, something that will urge me or rather to remind me (any inspiration at all!) onto why I love anime in the first place. And so, I decided my journey on, Kodomo no Omocha, I've heard alot of things about this anime, but never got the chance to watch it, there's no available download on some known site since it's Funi licensed and so on and so forth, besides it didn't air in my country (maybe it did but never had the chance to actually seen it on TV) and well, there's no DVD available on sale as well... but luckily I've attained one which I won't disclose on how I did. :P

And so when I began watching this series, it brings similarities to some anime, especially Hayama Akito's character, he somehow... similar to Natsume of Gakuen Alice. Being a problem child, snob, inexpressive of his feeling, easily get jealous etc etc. So like these classics brings inspiration to new manga artist too. Although, Gakuen Alice and Kodocha don't have similar storyline/plot, but they do have similarities when it comes to its characters.

Also, the one who triggered this change of heart of mine when a certain fansub group posted Ao no Exorcist (which I preferred calling, ao no exorShit) a "generic shonen shit", of course it cracked me up quite a bit, but watching episode 17 change its course from the original manga made me realize to stop watching the latest and go back to the classics 'coz they deserve more and they deserve to be remembered. And they're not as bad either,
